The state of Louisiana has restrictions on what can be reported in a background screening report beyond what the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) dictates.

Key Municipal Employment Restriction on Private Employers | Employers in New Orleans have additional restrictions, per Executive Order MJL 17-01. |
Use of Social Media Password Information | An employer shall not request or require an employee or applicant for employment to disclose any username, password, or other authentication information that allows access to the employee's or applicant's personal online account. See the statute here for more information. |
