Tennessee State Employment Laws
The state of Tennessee has restrictions on what can be reported in a background screening report beyond what the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) dictates.

| Use of Social Media Password Information | The Employee Online Privacy Act of 2014 (SB1808) prevents an employer from requiring an employee to disclose the username and password for the employee's personal internet account except under certain circumstances.
